Financial Aid

Applications for Financial Aid, scholarship applications, and guidelines can be obtained from the Graduate Admissions Office. Applicants who wish to be considered for financial aid should complete applications by March 1 of the academic year prior to their first enrollment in the M.A. program.

1. February 1. Last recommended date to mail the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to be considered for need-based scholarships.

2. March 1. Date by which BSU Scholarship Application must be received by the financial aid office to be considered for merit and need-based scholarships.

3. March 1. Last recommended date to mail the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to be considered for grants, work-study, loans, and waivers of non-resident tuition.

4. April 1. Date by which materials must be received by the Financial Aids Office for best chance of receiving grants, work study, loans, and waivers of non-resident tuition.
