Ted Hopfenbeck


Ted Hopfenbeck
joined BSU in August, 1967, as the second faculty member for the newly formed Criminology Program. Prior to that time he had served as an officer and director of the Tucson Police Academy in Tucson, Arizona. From 1968 to 1975, he served as the Director of the Idaho Region II Law Enforcement Planning Commission. From 1968 to 1989, he was Coordinator of Criminology and Criminal Justice at BSU. He retired as emeritus faculty in January 1994 with a wall full of awards, but continues to teach in an adjunct capacity.
