Advising FAQs
Before you schedule an appointment with the Peer Advisor, please read through the Department of Criminal Justice
requirements in the catalog. Use the University Catalog
Link (on the left) to access PDFs of Boise State University
Catalogs. Catalogs can also be purchased at the BSU
Bookstore for $5.00.
Next, download a copy of your
checklist.
You can choose to use a catalog from any year you were taking
classes at Boise State. If you are a new freshman to Boise
State, use the catalog and checklist for the semester you will
begin classes. For example, if you will be starting in the
Fall of 2007, your catalog and checklist would be 2007-2008.
Faculty advisors are assigned when you have applied for and
have been accepted into upper-division.

There are some courses available to non-upper division students
and student of other majors. Click here for those courses.
